YOSHIDA & Co. has been manufacturing bags with a commitment to “Japan Made” ever since its establishment in 1935. PORTER is the main brand of YOSHIDA & Co. that is branded in 1962.

The founder Kichizo Yoshida’s philosophy “Heart and One stitch all soul” has now become the corporate motto. It describes company’s dedication to excellence in every stage of the manufacturing process, from material selection, design to sewing, just like the process of stitching pieces to completion.

The company’s most well-known brand, PORTER, is popular for its high quality and modern design, and they often collaborates with other fashion brands to reach consumer’s desire.

YOSHIDA & Co. believes that they are the only craftsmen to empathize with their philosophy and help them make it possible to materialize it as bags.

HISTORY

1935

Kichizo established Yoshida Kaban Seisakujo in Kandasuda-cho, Tokyo.
1962

The first private brand "PORTER" lunched.
1983

PORTER’s Best Seller “TANKER” was released.
1984

"LUGGAGE LABEL" lunched.
2016

PORTER brand arrived in KOREA.
2021

"POTR" was released.
