Brand Story
COQ KANAKO KAJIHARA offers colorful and exquisite socks that express the charm of Japanese textile craftsmanship.
Based on a lifestyle of taking deep breaths in nature, the designs were inspired by elements encountered in the landscape:
flowers and plants, animals, and forests became texture and pattern motifs.
Through our textile patterns, we hope to convey the ambiguous, delicate, yet uplifting moments we feel from nature.
Technique and texture
COQ socks come from traditional Japanese craftsmanship techniques and locally sourced materials.
This special manufacturing process includes the use of high-gauge knitting to achieve the expression of delicate and intricate patterns in multi-colored designs.
COQ excels at producing fur-like three-dimensional fur and combining patterns and textured textiles, including translucent and glittery designs.
As part of our sustainability policies, we mainly use leftover yarn from textile factories to manufacture our products.
